Christmas Eve With the Shaffer's

Christmas Eve tradition dictates that Gary stand next to the tree and hand out all the gifts. Christmas morning is usually fairly quiet for the Shaffer's these days as most of the gifts are opened on Christmas Eve.

After opening a few presents, Kelton is licking his chops for more, "What's next?"

We try to jam as many people as we can into the Shaffer's front living room and get the sound level up as high as we can. I can remember that I had to leave the room nine years ago on our first Christmas eve due how noisy it gets in there. It's nothing compared to family gatherings at my parents house.

Braden got a scale model of a T-Rex skeleton that he had to put together (actually dad ended up putting it together, and it wasn't easy!) and Kelton got a Clone Trooper helmet and dart gun.

Ryker decided that he'd had enough and decided to clock out for the remainder of the evening.
