Thanksgiving at the Sandgren's

We spent Thanksgiving day at Grandma and Grandpa Sandgren's house. After we all stuffed ourselves we went out into the back yard to take some pictures and have some fun.

Braden's School Program

Here is Braden posing on the stage after his 1st grade program. How about a little cheese with that bowtie? After the program Braden and his cousin Teagan (not a girlfriend) held hands as they walked to the car.

Master Yoda, Busy Bumblebee and Grandpa

I am finally getting around to posting our Halloween pictures. The kids had a great time trick or treating. They thought they hit the mother load with candy even though we were rained out.

This year when I asked Braden what he wanted to be for Halloween he said, "Grandpa". Grandpa Shaffer is a Harley ridin' dude and was so proud that Braden wanted to be him for Halloween that he went out and bought the genuine Harley shirt and do-rag. I bought Braden a long black wig and studded bracelets, but he told me, "Grandpa doesn't have long hair or bracelets, but I will paint my hair gray." Gosh, mom doesn't know anything!

Silver Lake

Want to have some good Sunday family fun? Silver Lake is the place to go! It is located in Big Cottonwood Canyon right by Brighton ski resort. The boys had so much fun playing in the dirt, snow, water, and rocks. We walked around the lake and had little adventures along the way.

I love this picture! Bright-eyed and bushy tailed Ryker. He slept the whole time and woke up right when we got back to our car.

Braden took this picture. I thought it was pretty good for his first time photo!
