A Blessed Day

We blessed Ryker on August 31st and it was a great event. Scott gave Ryker a wonderful blessing. Poor third child, I totally forgot to take pictures while family and friends were still around. So we grabbed the camera, put him back in his blessing outfit and took some after shots of Ryker with us, uncle Blake and Grandma. He is as cute as ever!

School Begins

Wow, summer went fast! I can't believe Braden is in first grade and Kelton is in preschool. They are getting so big and so old. I will miss them both while they are gone!

Our Annual Bear Lake Trip

Our favorite family vacation is Bear Lake and we love going every year. We usually go with the whole Shaffer/Lamoreaux clan, but this year they all went the week Ryker was born, so that didn't happen for us. I was bummed that we couldn't go so I surprised Scott and booked the condo for our ninth anniversary and just our little family went. We had a great time! It was nice to get away and relax.

We had a great time at Boondocks. The boys really enjoyed mini golf. Scott tried to keep score on the first two holes and then gave up. Ryker slept the whole time, but what do you expect for a 5 week old?

The Tooth Fairy's Debut

Braden finally lost his first tooth! He is pretty much the last one of his friends to loose a tooth. He was so determined to get this tooth out. He was over at his friend Zak's house and his tooth wasn't very loose, but he and his friend yanked at it until it finally came out. Did you know the going rate of the first tooth is five bucks?! Thanks a lot to Mr. Dan for setting this expectation. When Zak looses his first molar, we are going to let him know that the tooth fairy pays ten bucks!
