Kelton has been adjusting to his this new experience rather well, as well as he can I suppose. He has been moving around a bit better now that the hard cast is on, and he has been whining less, a lot less. He often makes comments like, "I can't walk," or when asked what happened he replies, "my dad jumped on me." Yep, I get blamed for the accident, for bouncing him on the tramp, I just hope he doesn't call Utah Child and Family Services on me. Well anywho, here is another video I took of him to show how he has been getting around.

Kelton Breaks His Leg
On Sunday September 23rd, Kelton, Braden and Dad were out jumping on the trampoline as we have done numerous times before. Dad got a little out of hand and bounced the kids to high. Kelton caught the bounce wrong (dad heard a audible snap) and Kelton flipped over. We immediately rushed Kelton to the ER figuring he had a broken leg. The ER Doctors confirmed this to
be the case. He broke his Tibia (the larger bone in the leg that runs from the knee to the ankle) all the way through, Yes I said all the way through. Luckily the bone was not out of place and there was no need to re-set the bone. He has been a real trooper the last couple of days, but also can get very frustrated at times because of his immobility. All of his grandparents have come by to see him and have also offered gifts such as coloring books, movies, toys, etc. This has helped to cheer him up a bit. Today we take him in the the orthopedic surgeon to get Kelton in a permanent hard cast. He has been in a soft cast since Sunday. We will learn more about his condition today and hope that there are no long-term effects from his injury. We appreciate the prayers from family for our little Kelt's and know you all love him!
